Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Workshop

The Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation by the FDA requires activities such as preparing a Food Safety Plan, validating preventive controls, reviewing records, and re-analyzing Food Safety Plans & other activities to be completed by a "Preventive Controls Qualified Individual."  There are differences between HACCP and Preventive Controls, so a HACCP certificate doesn't necessarily meet the Preventive Controls requirement.  This course, developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), is the "standardized curriculum" recognized by the FDA.

You will participate in class by using food safety forms to prepare a food safety plan.
Your certificate is registered with FSPCA & shows you attended class taught by a trained Lead Instructor.
